Artist Statement

I explore "the moment when the familiar becomes strange and the strange feels familiar."
My work is an inquiry into life, the cosmos, and the nature of existence. In the fluid space where reality and the surreal converge, forms do not remain fixed but continuously evolve and reassemble. My worlds exist as independent universes yet remain deeply connected to our own.

Through my work, I capture the intersections between cellular growth and division, cosmic expansion and contraction, and the cycle of life and dissolution. Organic forms mutate and flow without settling into a fixed identity. They are not merely imaginary beings; they inhabit an unknown dimension that intertwines with scenes from our reality.

The perforated organisms in my work symbolize the cyclical nature of life and interconnectedness. Their structures dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior, revealing the fluidity of existence and the possibility of perpetual transformation. Through these beings, I question the nature of existence and whether a fixed reality truly exists.

My work does not seek to define a singular meaning. Instead, it invites viewers to project their own memories and sensations onto this world, constructing new interpretations. A space where the familiar dissolves into the unfamiliar, and the unfamiliar finds its own familiarity. In this ever-shifting flow, I explore the limits of perception and the infinite possibilities beyond.
