Artist Statement
I explore the moment when we find familiarity in the unfamiliar and sense strangeness within what we know. My work embarks on a journey through life, the universe, and the essence of existence. At the threshold between reality and the unreal, forms are never fixed—they shift, flow, and reconfigure. This world is both a self-contained universe and a space intimately connected to our own.
The living beings in my work transform continuously, echoing the proliferation of cells, the expansion of the cosmos, and the cycles of life. These are not just physical changes but living flows within our perception. These organisms intertwine with reality, dissolving boundaries between interior and exterior. Their open structures represent the fluidity and potential for constant transformation.
This work invites personal interpretation. In a space where the familiar becomes strange and the strange becomes familiar, viewers may project their own senses and memories, uncovering new meanings. I seek to explore the meeting point between what we know and the infinite possibilities beyond it.
